20 Mile Mt. Lemmon Ride

I met a few coworkers yesterday to do a 5-mile Mt. Lemmon approach and the first 5 miles of climbing for a total round trip of just over 20 miles. It was a great ride, but boy are my legs killing me! I’m not sure how people do all 25 to 30 miles of climb to the top! I did, however, greatly enjoy the ride down.

Wow.. I just now played with the Google earth gadget you’ve got on this post. I hadn’t seen the playback feature before. It was pretty sweet.

Did it take much to get your GPS data into the widget?

Nice job on the ride BTW. The downhill on the way back looked fun (according to the playback).

Just noticed your comment… I’ve been bad about checking that stuff recently. It wasn’t too hard to get the GPS data up there. There are a few websites that you can use to convert files rather nicely, but I went with an export feature of Garmin’s Connect website and a Google Gadget to display .kml files that I have hosted on my website.
